VanWalkIn VanWalkIn

Scattered clinic information, in one place.

VanWalkIn is a four-language (English-first) map and directory of walk-in clinics and medical clinics across Greater Vancouver. It currently lists 370 clinics in 18 cities, 370 of them pinned on the map with verified coordinates. You can search by clinic name or address and filter by language, opening hours, clinic type and distance.

Where the data comes from

Listings are compiled from public sources: clinic websites, public clinic directories and community contributions, then verified item by item. Anything we could not verify is left out or marked “to be confirmed” — we never guess at hours, languages or accepting status. Distances to hospitals, UPCCs and SkyTrain stations are straight-line estimates; city populations come from the Statistics Canada 2021 Census.

Hi, I'm Ricky. I live in Metro Vancouver, where I work in data science and medical imaging research.

I started this site for a simple reason: finding the right clinic in Metro Vancouver is genuinely hard. Which clinics are still taking new patients, what conditions each clinic can treat, how far away it is, how long you'll wait. That information is scattered across websites, phone calls, and word of mouth. New immigrants, international students, people who just moved here, and seniors who aren't comfortable navigating the healthcare system in English often spend a long time just figuring this out.

So I wanted to put all of this information onto one map, to make finding a clinic a little less of a detour.

This website is something I built entirely in my spare time, out of interest and a sense of responsibility. It isn't sponsored by any clinic, and no clinic can pay to change its listing or ranking. To help cover hosting costs, the site may display ads. Ads never affect which clinics are listed or how they are ordered. My professional background means I'm used to working with data. I know how much accuracy matters for medical information. I'll do my best to keep the data reliable, but clinic details can change at any time, so please always call or check the clinic's official website once more before heading out.

What I can do is limited. I can't fix the root causes of how hard it is to see a doctor here. But if this map saves you a few phone calls or one wasted trip, then it's worth it.
