Privacy policy

No accounts, no tracking of individuals. VanWalkIn has no sign-up, no login, and no passwords. We do not collect your name, email address, health information, or precise location.

Your favourites stay in your browser. Saved clinics are kept in the page address (a shareable link), not on our servers. We never see them.

Cookies and local storage. We use your browser's local storage to remember your language choice and display preferences (such as dark mode). These stay on your device and are never sent to us. If we run advertising in the future, our ad partner may use cookies as described below.

Advertising. We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Learn more about how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall usage (such as page views per day). It does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors.

Basic hosting logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps short-term, anonymized access logs for security and reliability, e.g. which pages were requested and when. These are not linked to your identity.

Third-party links. Links that leave this site (Google Maps, clinic websites) are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

Reviews you submit. If you write a review, we store the rating, text, optional display name, month of visit and the date. To limit spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) for 30 days. Reviews are moderated before they are published; email [email protected] to have yours removed.
